Individual Psychotherapy

Individual therapy or psychotherapy involves meeting with a therapist one-on-one for 45-50 min/session for the purpose of reducing internal suffering which may occur in the form of problematic behaviors, beliefs, feelings, and somatic responses (sensations in the body). In addition, ongoing psychotherapy is a common and useful means of self-growth and self-actualization for many people. Therapy can help people to confront barriers which interfere with emotional and mental well-being. Many people enjoy therapy and relish the journey of becoming more conscious about themselves, their inner world, and their relationships. Therapy may help to increase positive feelings such as joy, compassion, peace, self-esteem, spiritual connection, and love.

Couples Therapy

The focus of couples therapy is to identify the presence of dissatisfaction and distress in the relationship, and to devise and implement a treatment plan with objectives designed to improve or alleviate the presenting symptoms and restore the relationship to a better and healthier level of functioning.

Couples therapy can assist persons who are having complaints of intimacy, sexual, and communication difficulties.

I offer compassionate therapeutic services to members of the LGBTQIA+.  And I also specialize in offering care to members of  the transgender community. I understand the unique challenges and experiences faced by individuals navigating their sexual and gender identities, and offer tailored therapy that emphasizes emotional support, empowerment, and personal growth. I am committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment where clients can explore their identities and address any mental health concerns. Additionally, I provide professional letters of support for gender-affirming surgery (GAS) using the latest WPATH Standards of Care for transgender individuals, thus ensuring that my clients receive the necessary documentation to continue their journey toward living authentically.

Spiritual Guidance

Spiritual guidance incorporates basic counseling and coaching techniques designed to create a safe space for exploring who you are as a spiritual being. Some people use this time to discuss and work through their struggles with religious trauma, others may explore how to better connect with God/Source/Divinity or their Higher self.

Reiki Healing

People who experience emotional distress or trauma may experience energetic misalignments or blockages. A reiki session allows for an energy clearing of any blockages that can lead to a range of health benefits. It is believed that “stuck” or “blocked” energy can lead to pain, illness, and emotional distress. People use Reiki to get their energy levels aligned and flowing. Many who use it describe improvement in sleep, anxiety levels, mood, a reduction of pain, increased energy and improved blood circulation.
