Adriana Castro-Convers is a licensed psychologist and full-time staff psychologist at Pennsylvania Hospital located in Philadelphia, PA. In that capacity, Dr. Castro-Convers lectures on diversity theory, as well as acts as clinical supervisor to graduate-level students who are completing their masters and doctoral level training at nearby universities.
Dr. Castro-Convers is in private practice and has office locations in both Center City and Northwest Philadelphia. She is also an adjunct professor of psychology at colleges/universities in the Philadelphia region lecturing on diversity, psychopathology, and Relational, Feminist and LGBT-affirming therapies.
Dr. Castro-Convers works with individuals, couples, and groups to facilitate change, personal growth, greater contentment, and personal effectiveness. Furthermore, she has the training and knowledge to provide assessments in accordance with the WPATH Standards of Care for transgender individuals who are seeking letters of support for gender-confirmation surgery or other forms of trans-related care.
